“Taking” time to prosper! Or “take” time to prosper!

The big difference between the rich and the poor is how they use their time. Everyday god blesses them both with an equal 24 hours, but we decide how to use it, spend it, or invest it.

The moment you were born your time clock on earth began to countdown; when your time runs out your life has expired or as some would say “your time has come.”

We are all very busy about the affairs of daily life working, cooking, studying, attending church, attending school etc.
So many times we find ourselves running short of time because of commitments and obligations that we don’t take time to focus on whats really important in life… our time with god, our time with ourselves, our time managing our health, our time with family, our time with friends and our time focusing on our dreams.

“We must learn to take time for whats really important to us” ….the key word being “take”

To take: means to get hold of or get possession of, to capture or to seize, to buy or rent or obtain , to capture the fancy or attention of or to assume.

These words are primarily derived from an aggressive or militant mindset which tells us that to take time to prosper we will have to take on a guarded mindset as it relates to our time. Your time is the only leverage that you possess that can be taken from you. In order to prosper we must realize that leverage is the weapon of the wealthy. So even if you don’t have money to invest you can invest your time in yourself and in others and position yourself to prosper. Wise men focus on not becoming rich but becoming “wealthy!”

Wealth is not only the accumulation of money and possessions but the development of quality family relationships, a healthy body, a love relationship with god, a network of quality friends and yes acquisition of material possessions if you so desire! It’s being at peace with yourself …living in the paradise of your own mind. It’s living free from fear, anger, greed etc. It’s the ability to give and receive love freely!
Ask yourself do you have a “wealthy” mindset? It’s your choice and the good thing about it you don’t have to wait to accumulate money or things, you simply must make a quality decision to live or possess what god has given you….your time.
